Treatments
All treatments/techniques used are scientifically based, and included in the cost of service
Massage
Massage improves the flexibility of muscle and connective tissue, thereby allowing better joint range of motion and gait quality. It reduces pain, inflammation, swelling and aids immune health. It increases the healing of tissues and acts as a great pre and post exercise maintanence (including eliminating DOMS).
Stretching/mobilisation
Stretching the limbs, back, neck and tail reduce muscle hypertonicity and fascial restriction, improving flexibility, range of motion, tissue health and overall comfort.
Low level laser (Red light therapy)
Used mainly to reduce inflammation and provide pain relief. LLLT is also very effective at eliminating muscular trigger points and accelerating the healing of wounds and superficial soft tissues.
Remedial exercises
Remedial exercises are usually given as homework to: decrease pain and swelling, improve circulation, joint health and range of motion, flexibility, coordination and balance, muscular strength, bone density and gait quality.
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy (PEMFT)
PEMFT is mainly used to provide pain relief, but also reduces inflammation and improves healing, with specific settings for bone and neurological healing.
INDIBA (small animal only)
INDIBA enhances the healing of tissues and provides muscle spasm relief, as well as reducing pain and inflammation

Please note - if you are specifically interested in an INDIBA based treatment, please state upon booking, as pre planning is required.
